The William A. Burnard Warming Center urgently needs volunteers to help provide warmth, safety, and care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Cache Valley, Utah. With winter temperatures already here, there is a critical need for more volunteers, and the center cannot operate without the support of the community. If you or someone you know is able to help, please consider volunteering.

Areas Where Volunteers Are Needed:

  • Street Outreach:
    Assist with off-site outreach to connect with individuals in need.
  • Fundraising Events:
    Help support efforts to raise necessary funds to keep the center open.
  • On-Site Assistance:
    Volunteer on site at St. John's Episcopal Church, supervising and assisting guests who are seeking shelter.
  • Laundry Help:
    If you can help with washing and organizing laundry, it will make a big difference.

 

About the William A. Burnard Warming Center:

The W.A.B. Warming Center provides a temporary refuge from freezing temperatures, ensuring that no one in Cache Valley has to spend the night unsheltered during the coldest months of the year. In addition to shelter, guests have access to water, snacks, warm clothing, and information about other community resources.

The center serves both individuals and families, with parents asked to keep their children with them at all times. Volunteers and staff provide active supervision to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

East Entrance of St. John's Episcopal Church
85 E. 100 N., Logan, UT

 

Hours of Operation:

Nightly from November 29, 2024, to April 10, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM MST.

 

Parking & Transportation:
